I have uncertain feelings about the processes of commercial food production, so I have said no to the bakery. Before they even said yes to me. But, you know, why let open questions linger.

Or something.

I am taking comfort in this:

It isn't normal to know what we want. It is a rare and difficult psychological achievement.
(Abraham Maslow)
-- cited in Alain de Botton's The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work. In which I am completely immersed right now. And feeling all sorts of soothed and epiphanic as a result.

I need to scan the highlights from the first (test) roll of the blackbird, fly. It's getting dangerously close to dull around here.
