I reminded myself that the hour-long wait for the train is part of my afternoon off.

I found a roll of film, undeveloped and expectant, tucked away in a box. I was sure it was a forgotten piece of my long-ago trip to Italy.
Nope.
Turns out, I have no idea where this was shot, when, or by whom.
I'm pretending, though, that it's a once-upon-a-time summer camp. Which, in my current frazzle-y state, sounds even better than Europe.

I can tell my inner knitter fires are raging again, because all I can think when I see that scarf is: a knit version of it would be brilliant. Maybe in the luscious-looking Habu silk mohair?
(Uf. That shisyamu color is giving me the vapors.)

She came like godzilla through the scene, toppling cameras. Turns out, she just wanted to love on them. I swear she and I share DNA.
Yes, we are toy-camera crazy over here. Yes, that is my new Holga you see (yippee!). I think Lila loves it just a little bit more than the blackbird, fly. As for me, I'm anxious to find out.
I've shot three rolls with the BBF so far, and finally have five or so pictures worth sharing. So how about a BBF week? Next week? Good. I'm already excited.
Until then, happy (belated) Canada day. Happy fourth-ing, if you do. Or happy weekend to everyone else.

At the end of this trail we found bacon bread, a taste of home, and welcomed a new bicycle to the family.
